Irgun

A Zionist military organization established in Palestine in 1931 following a split within the Haganah, and affiliated with the Revisionist Zionist movement. During the British Mandate period, it carried out a series of armed attacks against Palestinians and later participated in the military operations that accompanied the occupation of Palestine and the Nakba in 1948.

Among the most prominent villages associated with Irgun operations were:
Al-Abbasiyya, Abu Kishk, Jarisha, Al-Sawalima, Al-Muwaylih, and Fajja.
