Zionist Massacres - Ain al-Rumaneh Massacre

Ain al-Rumaneh Massacre | Our Palestine

On April 13, 1975, the Lebanese militia opened fire on a bus returning from the Shatila camp to the Tel al-Zaatar camp, resulting in the martyrdom of 27 people, most of whom were Palestinians. Many of them were members of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, returning from a celebration organized by the Front in a bus passing through the area of Ain al-Rumaneh in the outskirts of Beirut. The Phalanges claimed that the Palestinians had attempted to assassinate Pierre Gemayel.

However, it was a story of "hearts filled" as depicted by the martyr Naji al-Ali.

The Ain al-Rumaneh massacre marked the beginning of the Lebanese Civil War, which lasted for 15 years.
