The Abi Zaabal Factory Massacre | Our Palestine

On February 12, 1970, while the War of Attrition between Egypt and Israel was confined to the boundaries of military positions on the frontlines, Israeli fighter jets raided the Abi Zaabal factory. This factory was owned by the Private Company for Metal Industries, and the attack occurred on the morning of February 12, 1970, with 1300 workers present. The airstrike resulted in the martyrdom of seventy workers, the injury of 69 others, and the burning of the factory.
