Zionist Massacres - Nasser El-Din Massacre

Nasser El-Din Massacre | Our Palestine

On April 14, 1948, the intensity of the fighting escalated in the city of Tiberias between Arabs and Zionists. The advantage in terms of men and equipment was on the Zionist side from the beginning. Attempts were made to rescue the fighters in Tiberias from the city of Nazareth and its surroundings. Reports of this rescue reached the residents, and they were asked to be vigilant and not open fire on it. However, this information leaked to the Zionist enemy who took control of the entrances to the city of Tiberias. Therefore, the organizations Lehi and Irgun sent a force to the village of Nasser el-Din on the mentioned night, with its members wearing Arab clothes. The locals thought they were the rescue team coming to Tiberias, so they welcomed them. When the Zionists entered the village, they opened fire on those who welcomed them. Only forty Arabs managed to escape to a neighboring village. After this massacre, the Zionists destroyed all the houses of Nasser al-Din.
