The Al-Fakhoura School Massacre (2023) was committed by the Israeli Air Force when it targeted the Al-Fakhoura School, which belongs to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and shelters thousands of displaced persons in the Jabalia refugee camp.
This massacre was part of several atrocities that occurred during Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa. The Israeli airstrike on the school resulted in the martyrdom of approximately 200 people, in addition to dozens of injuries.

The Massacre:
On the afternoon of Saturday, November 4, 2023, the Israeli Air Force bombed the Al-Fakhoura School in the Jabalia camp. Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on the school. With the start of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa, a large number of Gaza residents sought refuge in schools, believing that schools were protected areas under international humanitarian law. However, the Israeli Air Force bombed the Al-Fakhoura School, which housed displaced people. Ambulances and civil defense vehicles managed to recover the bodies of 15 individuals, most of them children and women, in addition to dozens of injured and dozens missing.
On Friday, November 3, 2023, one day before the Al-Fakhoura School Massacre, the Israeli Air Force committed another massacre at the Osama bin Zaid School, claiming the lives of more than 20 civilians.
