The Plan Behind 1948
The Palestinian crisis began its international preparations at the start of the last century, coinciding with the weakness of the Ottoman Empire and the outbreak of World War I, and what resulted from the consequences of this war. However, these preparations practically materialised in 1948 with the declaration of the establishment of the state of Israel on Palestinian land. The wars fought by five Arab armies against the Israeli army failed to prevent the implementation of international plans. It can be said that the defeats suffered by the Arabs in their wars in 1948 contributed to solidifying international recognition of Israel as a state with the elements of sustainability.
