This poster was from 1968, after the martyrdom of Shadia Abu Ghazaleh. Ghassan was greatly influenced by Shadia's story and that of other female fighters. Let's remember that he humanized the involvement of women in the fedayeen movement early on, even before the modern revolution. This was evident in his story "Something Not to Forget," which was part of his first short story collection titled "Death of Bed Number 12," published in 1961. | Our Palestine
