As part of the genocide being waged by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, the occupation has committed a new massacre by bombing the tents of displaced people in the UNRWA warehouses in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip that they had marked as a 'safe zone'.
The center was bombed with more than 7 missiles and giant bombs, each weighing over 2000 pounds of explosives.
The massacre resulted in the martyrdom of dozens and caused numerous serious injuries, leading to an increase in the number of martyrs. The search for missing persons at the site is still ongoing.
The Ministry of Health stated that the medical teams are at a loss as to how to transport the martyrs and the injured due to the lack of a hospital in Rafah City capable of accommodating such a large number of injuries.
The Civil Defense in Gaza announced that it transported 50 people, both martyrs and injured, as a result of the occupation's bombing of the displaced persons' camp in Rafah. It revealed that the targeted area contains 100,000 displaced people.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that the area targeted by the occupation in Rafah is a humanitarian area, and Palestinians had previously been forced to flee there.
In this context, the Emergency Committee in Rafah Governorate confirmed that the Israeli bombing .. quoting .. "targeted the tents of displaced persons in areas that the occupation claimed to be safe and had urged residents to move to."
