On the ninth anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, confrontations occurred inside the sacred compound of Jerusalem and at its gates between Palestinian citizens, Israeli police, and Jewish groups attempting to invade Al-Aqsa Mosque. Sixteen Palestinians were injured, and others were arrested.
